External and Internal Ramps
Our custom-built dog pool has both external
and internal ramps where we can perform
massages at rest.
Clean and Heated Pool
Our pool has an oversized pump and filtration system to accommodate the hair and oil from a dog's coat. The pool is heated and maintained between 28 -30 degrees. Water is tested and treated a minimum of twice a day.
Safe
Your dog's safety is our number one priority, which is why all of our clients are fully supervised by a qualified canine hydrotherapist. All dogs are fitted with a buoyancy vest or harness prior to entering the pool. Hydrotherapists' will always be in the pool to support and encourage your companion.
Non-Weight Bearing
Hydrotherapy in the pool provides significant benefits for individuals by reducing concussive forces placed through the joints and enhancing flexibility. The water buoyancy reduces inflammation, improving circulation, stimulating nerve pathways and managing chronic and persistent pain. Our geriatric clients benefit with the heat, floatation and massage in a gentle and non-impactful nature.
Illawarra's #1 canine care hydrotherapy facility
At Water Walkies, we ensure that our clients are always supervised by our qualified canine hydrotherapists and they provide complimentary benefits to ensure they get the most out of our Hydrotherapy Services.
