Our custom built dog pool has both external and internal ramps where we can perform massages at rest.
Our pool has an oversized pump and filtration system to accommodate the hair and oil from a dog's coat. The pool is heated and maintained between 28 -30degrees. Water is tested and treated a minimum of twice a day.
Your loved one’s safety is our number one priority, which is why all of our clients are fully supervised by a qualified canine hydrotherapist. On top of that, all dogs are fitted with a buoyancy vest or haness prior to entering the pool and a trained and qualified hydrotherapist will always be in the pool to support and encourage your companion.
Hydrotherapy in the pool provides significant benefits for individuals by reducing concussive forces placed through the joints and enhancing flexibility. The water buoyancy reduces inflammation, improving circulation, stimulating nerve pathways and managing chronic and persistent pain. Our geriatric clients benefit with the heat, floatation and massage in a gentle and non-impactful nature.
Our Hydrotherapy Pool is valuable for a range of conditions including, but not limited to:
