Our custom built dog pool has both external and internal ramps where we can perform massages at rest.
Our pool has an oversized pump and filtration system to accommodate the hair and oil from a dog's coat. The pool is heated and maintained between 28 -30degrees. Water is tested and treated a minimum of twice a day.
Your loved one’s safety is our number one priority, which is why all of our clients are fully supervised by a qualified canine hydrotherapist. On top of that, all dogs are fitted with a buoyancy vest or haness prior to entering the pool and a trained and qualified hydrotherapist will always be in the pool to support and encourage your companion.
Hydrotherapy in the pool offers a low-impact environment, providing significant benefits for individuals such as amputees, dogs with arthritis, and those seeking to enhance their flexibility. It also proves highly effective for conditioning and post-sport recovery, thanks to its gentle and non-impactful nature.
At Water Walkies, we ensure that our clients are always supervised by our qualified canine hydrotherapists and they provide complimentary benefits to ensure they get the most out of our Hydrotherapy Services.
Water Walkies offers dog hydrotherapy for learn to swim and water confidence lessons, fun and fitness, injury rehabilitation, pain and arthritis management, and weight loss. We support your companion’s journey to better health as they are introduced to the water at their own pace.
